Ollie Verdo Hallman, age 82, of Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Burns Nursing Home. Mr. Hallman’s favorite enjoyment was spending time with his family.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Bro. Darryl Whitehead will be officiating. Burial will be at East Franklin Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Jewel Dean Hallman; son, Gary Hallman; son-in-law, James Odom; parents, Frank & Flora Mae Hallman; and several brothers and sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Joyce Hallman Odom, Joann Hallman Wood (husband, Scotty); daughter-in-law, Joann Hallman; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ollie Howard, Alton Hallman; sister, Janie Malone; and a host of nieces & nephews.
The pallbearers will be Andy Hallman, Nick Howard, Craig Howard, Ken Howard, Steven Howard, and Larry Hallman. The honorary pallbearers will be Doug Hallman, Randy Hallman, and Robert Poston.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
