Funeral services for Mr. Gary Dale Smith, age 62, are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, February 17, 2018 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Dennison officiating. Interment will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Mr. Smith passed away on Tuesday at his home in Lexington. He was born August 15, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a Missionary, a Pastor, and a member of Hope Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Arvel E. Smith and one sister, Tammy M. Daves. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Mrs. Mona Towns Smith; his son, Timothy Dale Smith; his daughter, Melody Ann McCarver (Kris); his brother, Michael E. Smith; four grandchildren, Sean, Seth, Shane, and Say-Lizzie McCarver.
