Inez Pirtle, 86, died Monday, February 12, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center, Corinth, MS. She was born March 11, 1931 in Tishomingo County, MS. She had worked as a seamstress and was a member of Highland Baptist Church, Tishomingo, MS.
Services will be Wednesday, February 14, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Robbie Crane officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Tishomingo, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are two children – Tina Stevens (Bill) Glen, MS and Toni Burns (John) Tishomingo, MS; seven grandchildren – Nathan Brown, Michael Burns, Jeremy Stevens (Audrea), Alanna Burns, Lindsay Stevens, Ava Stevens and Billy Stevens; three great-grandchildren – Kayden Brown, Kye Stevens and Laila Stevens and two brothers – Johnny Nunley (Yvonne) and Joe Nunley (Debbie).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Pirtle, her parents, Willie Nunley and Ona Turner Nunley, four brothers, Freeman Nunley, Treeman Nunley, Clifton Nunley and Jeral Nunley and two sisters, Evateen Nunley and Catherine Vaughn.
Pallbearers will be Tom Nunley, Eddie Nunley, Doug Nunley, Michael Nunley, Jimmy Nunley and Harold Wayne Turner.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 13, 5-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
