It is with regret that we announce the passing of Mrs. Roberta Matlock Dunivan. She was born on February 24, 1923 to the late Benjamin and Nina Hatchett Matlock in Capshaw, AL. She was known as an outstanding seamstress and clothing designer while working at Serbin Fashions. Roberta was an excellent grandmother and attended Washington Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Dunivan passed away on February 9, 2018 at Lincoln Care Center.
Survivors include her son, Bob (Cindy) Dunivan; grandchildren, Matthew, Blair, Joseph, Amy, and Steven; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Dunivan, Jr., son, Ronald A. Dunivan and several siblings.
A private family services will be planned for a later date. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens next to her husband. Higgins is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Dunivan.
