Funeral service for Charlie Jackson McMillan, Jr. , 81, will be Friday, February 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. McMillan died on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.  He was born February 27, 1936, in Lawrence County to Charlie Jackson McMillan, Sr. and Grace Jane Kelsoe McMillan.  He was employed by Monsanto as a Chem Lab Operator prior to his retirement and was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He was a member of the Cowboy (No Fences) Church. Mr. McMillan was a big Alabama fan and an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife: Mary McMillan, his parents and a grandson: Justin Steadman.

Two Daughters:
Darlene Thrasher (Ronnie) and
Lisa Pylate (Dave)

One Sister:
Faye Anders

Special Family Friend and Caregiver:
Susan Koester

A host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Josh Twilley, Daniel Reese, Brandon Pylate, Trustin Pylate, Ronnie Thrasher, and Anthony Davis.

In lieu of flowers: Memorials may be made to Alacare Hospice or to Saving Forgotten Warriors in Cullman.
