Funeral services for Mr. Samuel Ray Hart, age 86, are scheduled for 1 PM, Friday, February 9, 2018 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Browns Cemetery. Mr. Hart passed away on Tuesday in Jackson. He was born November 19, 1931 in Chester County to the late Robert Lee and Lula Cordle Hart. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mrs. Mary L. Hart; his son, Dudley Hart (Susan); his daughter, Donna Hart; two grandchildren, Marty Hart (Nicky) and Alisha McCarter (Michael); and eight great grandchildren, Nicole, Kaylee, and Logan Hart and Hannah, Lauran, Clayton, Levi, and Sarrah McCarter. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
