Robert Thomas “RT” Wright, age 83, of Columbia, TN passed away on February 5, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
RT was born on September 10, 1934 to the late James Thomas and Louise Wright in Williamson County, Tennessee. RT and his wife Aliene married on August 15, 1980. He retired as a truck driver from CB Ragland in Nashville, TN. RT enjoyed collecting antique tractors; he attended tractor shows all over the country. He also enjoyed fishing.
RT is survived by his wife: Aliene Wright; daughter: Margaret Wright; son: Wayne (Angie) Wright; stepsons: Darrell (Penny) Lee and Gregory Lee; grandchildren: Courtney Johnson and Jason Wright; sister: Evelyn McMillon and brother: Roy (Mary Ellen) Wright. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers: JW Wright and Billy Wright; sister: Elaine Wright and grandson: Anthony Wright.
The Wright family will visit with friends at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. A Service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
