Christine Holley Taylor – Obituary

Christine Holley Taylor of Pulaski passed away on Monday evening, February 5th, 2018 at Meadowbrook Nursing and Rehab in Pulaski. She was born in the Bradshaw/Frankewing community on April 13th, 1928 and was 89 years old.
Christine attended Beech Hill High School and Martin College. On April 11th, 1950 she married David D. Taylor, Jr. She became a military (Air Force) wife living in eight States and Okinawa. Her first job here in Pulaski was with Joe Henry and later worked in the banking field. She loved cooking, was an excellent seamstress, and loved canning from her garden. She was a member of the Elkton United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 7th from 11:00am until 12:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow visitation on Wednesday at 12:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Richard Garlen officiating.
Burial will take place in Maplewood Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband David D. Taylor.
She is survived by her,
Daughter Sarah (Calvin) Taylor Matsuoka of Hawaii.
Daughter Deborah (Fred) Taylor Brady of Pulaski.
Son Michael D. Taylor of Arlington, VA.
Michael C. Goldman of Maui.
Justin R. Goldman of Fairbanks, Alaska.
Matthew D. Brady of Santa Barbara, CA.
Sean T. Brady of San Antonio, TX.
Brother William (Linda) Holley of Pulaski.
Several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
