Marvin Earl “Bobby” Raper – Obituary

 Marvin Earl “Bobby” Raper, 71, died Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Red Bay Hospital. He was born June 8, 1946 in High Point, NC. He had worked in mobile home repair, attended Hodges Convention Baptist Church and was a member of the National Guard.

Memorial services will be Saturday, February 10, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Jerry Humphries officiating. Burial will be in Old Line Cemetery, Hodges, Al. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by two children – Gina Lemmond (Mike) Waterloo, AL and Jeremy Credille, Florence, AL; four grandchildren – Haley Milberger, Nathan Milberger, Jayden Credille and Andrew Credille; brothers and sisters – Gary Raper (Sue), Judy Pounds (Rance), Larry Raper, Allen Raper, Scotty Raper (Brenda), Mike Raper (Deborah) and Tim Raper and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurston B. Raper and Jewel Elizabeth Dabbs Raper and a brother, Johnny Raper.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 10, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
