Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Betty Sue Lawrence Dixon Anthony, 82, will be Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Graveside in the Oak Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Nathan Green officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Anthony died on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born September 21, 1935, in Morgan County to Gurney Asbury Lawrence and Vera Core Black Lawrence. She was a member of Oak Ridge Methodist Church. Born and raised in Hartselle but lived in South Carolina for 25 years before moving back to her hometown. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was employed by Amoco Chemical Company in South Carolina prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, first Husband: W.O. Dixon, second Husband: James Anthony and a son: Larry Dixon.
