Linda Carol Turman Clifford, 69, went home to be with our Father on February 4, 2018. She was born June 23, 1948, to David Edward and Fannie Laura Cooper Turman. She was a long-time resident of Mooreville but had been residing in Clarksville, TN, the past three years. She was a quilter for Richey’s Manufacturing. She possessed a heart of gold and enjoyed caring for her family.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February 9, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery at Peppertown.
She is survived by her mother, Fannie Turman; sister, Marcia Cardenas; five children, Delores Payne, Laura Mixon, Roger Clifford, Charlie Clifford, and Melissa Boyd; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, David E. Turman; two brothers, Douglas Turman and David M. Turman; and a nephew, Joshua Sloan.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Russell, Jamie Russell, Timothy Calmes, Eric Clifford, and Bobbie Lee Clifford. Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Clifford, Hunter Bailey, and T. J. Bailey.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 8, at the funeral home.
