Mrs. Norene VanWinkle Land, age 89, of Spencer, passed away Sunday February 4th, 2018 at Life Care of Sparta. A Homemaker, she was born in Van Buren County to parents Jonah Lee VanWinkle and Bertha Mae Burgess VanWinkle who proceeded her in death.
Mrs. Land was proceeded in death by her husband Marion James Land, Son; Johnny Howard Hankins, Brothers; Clayton VanWinkle, Lincoln VanWinkle, Billy Lee VanWinkle.
Mrs. Land is survived by: Daughters; Hilda Cox, Faye Hankins, Kaye Stilber (Tom), and Step-daughter Kim Woodlee, Daughter-in-laws; Juanita Woodard, Cassie VanWinkle, 12 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday Feb. 6th at Lonewood Baptist Church of Christ at 3 pm with Bro. Cecil VanWinkle Officiating. Burial will follow in the Lonewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday Feb. 5th from 4-9pm at Layne Funeral Home in Spencer. Visitation will be also held at the church from noon till time of service on Tuesday.
