James Lee “Jim” Farrow, 77, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his home in Belden after an extended illness. A native of Tippah County, he was born in Ripley November 25, 1940 to William Fred Farrow and Beatrice Davis Farrow. He was a graduate of Shady Grove High School. He then served his country in the U.S. Army field artillery. Jim worked 45 years in logistics, retiring as the logistics manager at People Lounger. His family remembers him as a loving father, husband and grandfather; a man who met everyone with a caring smile and a firm handshake. He was always there to offer words of encouragement. Jim loved the outdoors and was an avid fan of NASCAR. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He had a knack for planting seeds and watching them grow, literally with the plants he nurtured and figuratively with the family his raised.

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at 2 PM Monday at the Lee Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Henry officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be 12-2 PM prior to the service. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by 2 sons, Kevin Farrow of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Chris Farrow (Kristi) of Belden; 3 sisters, Billie Jean, Linda Rose and Mary Helen; and 4 grandchildren, Dustin, Millie, Max, and Emily.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Nelson Lee Farrow; a sister, Freddie Sue Farrow; and his wives, Judy Little Farrow, Larue Robertson Farrow and Jane Trover Farrow.

Pallbearers will be Chris Farrow, Kevin Farrow, Max Farrow, Dustin Farrow, Jerry King, Jerry King JR, and Gerald Tutor. Scott Caples will serve as honorary pallbearer.
