Funeral service for Hattie Jo Parker Pope, 70, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 30th, 2018 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Cullman City Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Pope passed away Sunday, January 28th, 2018. She was born April 14, 1947 to John and Grace Bryan Parker, Jr. She was a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church. She was well known for running the Dollar General Store for 26 years.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alma & Wesley Bryan; her mother, Grace Parker.
Survivors include her father, John Tandy Parker, Jr.; husband of 55 years, Roy Pope; son, Jordan Chance Pope (Marie); sister, Nancy (Randy) Bates; grandson, Hank Parker Pope; nephew, Dexton Bates; niece, Wendy (Carlos) Perez; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday evening at the funeral home, 5:30 – 8 for friends.
