James Robert “Bob” Mullins – Obituary

James Robert “Bob” Mullins, 60, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born July 25, 1957, to William Polk Mullins, Sr., and Belle Knight Mullins. He worked for over 40 years for Omega, formerly Super Sagless, and also worked for Maloney Glass and Door. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mantachie.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 28, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Ricky Lesley officiating. Burial will be in the James Creek Cemetery near Tremont.

Survivors include one son, Robert Mullins (Angela) of Picayune; two sisters, Cindy Bryant (Bill) of Mantachie and Midge Davis (Gene) of Brooksville; a special friend, Mitzie Dunkin; four grandchildren, Logan Mullins, Adriana Mullins, Kason Mullins, and D.J. Buchanan; and several nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Mullins; one brother, Bill; one sister, Betty; and his parents.

Pallbearers will be Travis Moore, Blake Hendrick, Shannon Tucker, McClain Mullins, Jared Mullins, Emory Mullins, Leighton Mullins, and Chris Poe.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, January 27, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
