Kenneth Jerry McCarter 69, of Haleyville, entered into rest on January 22, 2018 at his residence surrounded by family and friends.
Mr. McCarter was born on August 31, 1948 in Haleyville, Alabama. He loved crappie fishing and was a huge Alabama Crimson Tide football fan. Roll Tide Roll!!!

Kenneth is survived by Pat McCarter; sons, Kenneth Sorke and wife Evon, Jeremy McCarter and wife Mandi; daughter Roxann Davis and husband Rob; sisters, Jean Tarter, Vodie Barton, Doris Martin; He was Paw Paw to 7 grandchildren, Hayden, Cameron, Makenna, Samantha, Jullian, Amanda, and Kenny; and 2 great grandchildren, Jonathan, and Conner Lee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Eula McCarter; sisters, Faye Guin; granddaughter, Emma McCarter; brother-in-laws, John Martin, and Norm Tarter.
