ATHENS-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a traffic fatality near Athens in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 23:
“A single-vehicle crash at 12:45 p.m. Monday, January 22, has claimed the life of a Meridianville woman.
Britney Tenecha Scott, 29, was killed when the Suzuki Forenza she was driving left the roadway on Holt Road and struck a tree. Scott was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred 8 miles north of Athens. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
