TUSCUMBIA-The Alabama Law Enforcemet Agency reports a one vehicle on Sunday, January 21. The accident took the life of a Leighton teen:
“A one vehicle crash at 6:15 a.m. this morning, January 21, 2018, has claimed the life of a Leighton teenager.
Travon McCord, 18, was killed when the 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer he was passenger in ran off the roadway and struck a tree. McCord was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred on Old Memphis Road in Colbert County, just west of the Tuscumbia city limits.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
