Guy Nicholas Wynn III – Obituary

Guy Nicholas Wynn III passed away suddenly on January 16th at Huntsville Hospital. Born and raised in Rosenberg, Texas, he graduated from Lamar High School followed by the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He then joined the Navy where he attended Naval Nuclear Power school. After graduating, he served on the USS South Carolina and USS Enterprise.

In 1986, Guy completed his Naval service and embarked on a career in the nuclear power industry. His students and co-workers knew him as a helpful and conscientious professional. He also attended and graduated from Widener Law School. Guy spent his leisure time travelling, reading, and spending time with family. Guy was a devout Christian and a faithful parishioner of Parkview Baptist Church.

Guy is survived by his wife, Rebecca Jo Wynn; three children, Nicholas Wynn, Sarah Swadis, and Patrick Wynn; his seven stepchildren, Heather, William, Holly, Rosie, Robert, Joseph, and Maggie Morris; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Guy Jr. and Aleene S. Wynn.

A viewing will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. today with a service at Parkview Baptist Church on January 21st at 2 p.m. He will be laid to rest in a private ceremony in Rosenberg, Texas.
