Charles Willard Pike – Obituary

Mr. Charles Willard Pike, 83 of Lacey’s Spring, the Union Hill Community, died Thursday January 18, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Pike was born October 19, 1934 in Morgan County to Gus Pike and Liza Bonds Pike. He worked in construction for Ashburn-Gray until his retirement.He enjoyed working on cars, small engines, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years: Mary D. West Pike; his sons: Danny Pike and Rickey Pike; his daughters and son-in-law: Pamela Miller, Evelene Tipton and Ray; his sister and brother-in-law: Virginia Rozell and Charles; his grandchildren: Patrick Baker, Jessica Perry and Daniel, Tonia Fink and Jake; four great grandchildren: Marley Shaw, Carleigh Perry, Dominic Perry and Bently Perry. He was preceded in death by his two daughters: Brenda Baker and Guendylne Pike; two brothers and six sisters.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 21, 2018 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel with Brother: Leon Holt, officiating. Burial will be in New Canaan Cemetery-Morgan County with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel and Brindlee Mountain Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Michael Kennedy, Eli Kennedy, Matt Williams, Jimmy Taylor, James Gothard Jr., Marty Dudley, Danny Bales and Casey Williams.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Perry and Patrick Baker.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. -2:00 p.m. Sunday January 21, 2018 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel prior to the service.
