Richard “Rick” Charles Long Jr., age 55, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 13, 2018.
Richard was born on June 2, 1962 in Vallejo, California to Richard Charles Long Sr. and Darlene Inez Marbry. Richard was very passionate about the community in which he lived. He enjoyed giving back, socializing with and assisting members of his community. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and continued to enjoy spending time with and giving back to fellow veterans. Richard enjoyed cooking; he loved preparing many different kinds of foods. He loved God. Rick is remembered by his family as a loving and devoted Son, Father and Brother.
Besides his parents he also leaves behind his daughters: Tiffany (James) Earle and Jennifer (Jon) Wise; Grandchildren: Dustin Long, Marcos Betancourt, Jaylin, Jonathan and Jace Wise; Sister: Michelle (Mike) Felten; Nephews: Steven Shimmell and Matthew Felten and Niece: Christa (Brock) Evans.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
