Dorthy Nell Keeton, age 77, of Sheffield, Alabama, died Thursday, January 11, 2018. The visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 14th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral will be Monday, Jan. 15th at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Bro. Randy Wallace will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery.
She was a longtime resident of the Shoals. Dorthy was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Garfield and Geneva Wooten; son, Jerry Lee Keeton; brothers, James, Hershell, Opal and Marshal Wooten.
Survivors include her son, Wayne Keeton (Veronica), daughter, Tresia Lancaster (Burt); sister, Eva Mathis; grandchildren, Silas, Daniel, Matthew, Jacob, Danny, Benji, Tracie, J.J., and Bradley, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
