Heritage Preservation, Inc. To Hold Annual Meeting January 21

FLORENCE-Heritage Preservation, Inc. (HPI), a community-based organization dedicated to the preservation of local historic structures, sites and documents, will hold its annual meeting for the community at 2:00 P.M. on SUNDAY, JANUARY 21, 2018. It will take place in downtown Florence in the beautifully-restored building known as Singin’ River Live, 526 East College Street, next door to Singin’ River Brewery.

Libby Jordan, Director of Arts and Museums

At the meeting, Libby Jordan, Director of Arts and Museums for the City of Florence, will present an update on the museums owned and operated by the City. Billy Warren will discuss the upcoming events of Florence’s exciting Bicentennial Celebration which will occur from March 12 through November 30.
Another highlight of the meeting will be the annual Capital Award presentation in honor of significant historic preservation projects which were completed in 2017.
Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
