Michael “Mike” Hamby, 62, of Moulton passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital. Visitation will be from 5 till 7 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the funeral home with James Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mount Springs Cemetery on County Road 9 in Bankhead Forest.
Mike loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his daughters, Angela Whitfield and Nicole Freeman (Jeffrey); their mother, Vickie Naylor; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sister, Shelia Barnett; brother, Charles Hamby; and several nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Ollis and Jewel Morgan Hamby; and brother, Neal Hamby.
Pallbearers will be Gary Kelley, Billy Osborn, Justin Whitfield, Tyler Whitfield, Anthony Burnett and Jeffrey Burnett.
