Judith Carrol Lewis, 72, died Thursday, January 11, 2018, the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born January 9, 1946, to Thomas Homer and Ollie Mae Green Owens. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church. She loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and was an animal lover. She especially loved being around her family.
Services will be at 11:00 a. m. Saturday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Bill Adams officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, L.C. Lewis; one son, Tim Lewis (Michelle); one daughter, Cassandra Irwin (Matthew); one brother Jack Owens (Lynn), all of Fulton; two sisters, Fairy Nell Bates of Fulton and Ruby Sturdivant of Muscle Shoals, AL; four grandchildren, Ashley Holmes, Preston Howell, Tonya Lewis, and Sonya Mitchell; seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Terry L.C. Lewis and Kenny Lewis; one great grandchild, Skylar Alexander Lewis; several brothers and sisters; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Felix Curtis, Darrell Gasaway, Tim Lewis, Matt Irwin, David Tyra, and Preston Howell.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p. m. Friday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home.
