Wallace C. Cummings, 74-years-old, formerly of Phil Campbell, Alabama, passed away Jan. 7, 2018, at his residence.
Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Alabama. The funeral service will be Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Akins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.
Wallace was born June 3, 1943, in Phil Campbell, Alabama to Clay and Exie Cummings.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Wallace is survived by his wife, Sandra Cummings; his children, Steven Cummings, David Cummings (Catherine), James Cummings, and Laura Cummings Miley (Mark); his grandchildren, Heather, Brian, Scott, Michael, Ashley, Jonathan, Ally, Dylan, Joshua, Courtney, Brandon, and Christian; and great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Meagan, and Thomas.
Akins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
