Harry Kenneth Price, 60, passed Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018. Visitation will be today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral service will be Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Chris Moran and Bill Bagents officiating. Burial will follow at Central Heights Community Cemetery.
Kenneth was a native of Lauderdale County and a member of Mars Hill Church of Christ. He worked in lab research and development at Reynolds Metals for 18-and-a-half years. He graduated from Wilson High School in 1975. Kenneth loved coaching his sons at Underwood Dixie Youth Baseball. He was a great father, son, brother, and grandfather who loved his family very much.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, George “G.F.” Price; and his grandparents, Oxford and Mary Staggs and George and Leona Price.
He is survived by his sons, B.J. Price (Chasity) and Michael Price; mother, Earlene Price; brother, Carl Price; sisters, Diane Coleman (Kenny), Valerie Gifford (Anthony), and Wanda Clemons (Roy); three grandchildren, Katelyn, Dylan, and Lucas Price; special niece, Madalyn Scott; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers include Kenny and Chris Coleman, David Scott, Anthony and Tony Gifford, and Kevin Dillon.
