Bettye George Bolding – Obituary

Bettye George Bolding, 79 of Joppa, died Sunday January 7, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Bolding was born March 28, 1938 in Morgan County to James Ted George and Mary Smallwood George. She worked as an assembly worker for Eaton in Arab until her retirement. She enjoyed her Church and loved her Church Family. She collected treasures and cookie jars, loved her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Bolding was a member of New Beginnings Church.
She is survived by her son: Harold L. Fowler and Rhona Downs; her grandchildren: Michael Fowler and Chasity, Angela Taylor, Eric Fowler and Christie; her great grandchildren: Haley Fowler, Austin Fowler, Carter Fowler, Chase Richards, Kaylee Fowler, Lexie Fowler, Alley Fowler and Emma Fowler; her sisters and brothers-in-law: Jean Hall and Bill and Janice Brindley and Van. She was preceded in death by her first husband: Howard M. Fowler and her second husband Danny Roe Bolding; her parents: James Ted and Mary Smallwood George and her brother Jimmy Smallwood.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 10, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in New Beginnings Church Cemetery, formerly Church of the Living God, with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
Pallbearers will be Allen Brindley, Billy Brindley, Lonnie Turney, Frankie Brindley, James Hollman and Jimmy “Bo” Purser.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday January 9, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
