Donald Rayfield – Obituary

Donald Rayfield, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, January 07, 2018 at his residence.  He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired Assistant Chief of the Lawrenceburg Fire Department and Owner of Rayfield Homes.  He was also of the Methodist Faith and a member of the Elks Lodge BPOE #2206.  Mr. Rayfield was an Officer Second Lieutenant in the ROTC and served his country honorably in the Army Reserves.

He was preceded in death by his parents, T. D. and Estoile Freemon Rayfield; one son, James Scott Rayfield; and one brother, Bruce Rayfield.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 11, 2018, with Billy Beal officiating.  Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN  38105-9959.
