Larry Wayne Johnson, 71, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born December 12, 1946, in Itawamba County to Windal and Eva Christian Johnson. He was a truck driver for 35 years and farmed most of his life. He was a Baptist in belief and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 12, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Jimmy Dale Sartin and Bro. Bill Adams officiating. Burial will be in the County Line Cemetery in Pontotoc County.

Survivors include his son, Larry Wayne “Skip” Johnson, Jr. (Dina); two daughters, Patricia Ross and Penny McAnally; and three brothers, Troy Johnson (Mary Lou), Roy Johnson (Margaret), and Billy Johnson (Debbie), all of Fulton; six grandchildren, Jacob Johnson (Sarah), Alexandria Johnson, Stephanie Johnson, Cody Ross, Chelsey Cunningham, and Abby Walden; and two great-grandchildren, Cameron Johnson and Charley Beth Cunningham.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Austin Johnson, in 2012; his parents, Windal and Eva Johnson; two brothers, R.C. Johnson and J.W. Johnson; and one sister, Ruby Johnson.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 11, at the funeral home.
