Terence F. Martin – Obituary

Terence F. Martin, 73, of Madison, passed away Sunday. Terence was born in Western Australia, and received his master’s degree from the University of Alabama. Employed by DIA/MSIC and highly respected by his colleagues, Mr. Martin distinguished himself as an intelligence analyst, engineer, programmer, aerodynamicist, artist, and Russian linguist. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Huntsville.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Gene Martin; sons, Timothy Franklin Martin and Daryl Wayne Martin (Joy); daughter, Heather Martin Armstrong (Ashley); grandchildren, Sophie Elizabeth Armstrong and Spencer Lewis Martin; and sister, Virginia Frances Martin.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Monday, January 15 at First Baptist Church Chapel. The funeral will follow at 12 in the chapel with the Rev. Mark Seanor and Pastor Dr. Frank Lewis officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 16 at Maple Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or Clearview Cancer Institute.
