Maymie Liles Hester – Obituary

Mrs. Maymie Liles Hester resident of Keestone of Lawrenceburg, TN died January 7, 2018. Maymie was born in the Wayland Springs Community of Lawrence County TN on January 29, 1923 to the late Walter and Irene Adkisson Liles.
Maymie was a gifted seamstress and worked for the Lawrence County School System for many years. She loved children and her family. She was a member of the Mt. Nebo Cumberland Presbyterian church.
On February 18, 1947 she married Harris Judson Hester who preceded her in death June 27, 2008. They celebrated 62 wonderful years together.
Survivors include one sister Evelyn Liles Luckett, two special Nephews, Woody (Donna Kay) Liles and Rev. Dwight (Denise) Liles, Niece Jamie Luckett Jackson, Brother-in-law Harvell (Carolyn) hester, Sister-in-law Jo Hester, and nieces and nephews of the Hester Family.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Rev haywood Liles and a special nephew, Danny Luckett.
The Funeral Service will be at the Loretto Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mark King and Rev. Dwight Liles officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM, with the service following at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Gum Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mickey Allen, Mike Waugh, Jimmy Haywood, Billy Grimes, Guy Hester, and Greg Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Woody Liles, Harvell Hester, Johnny Lyles, David Johnson, Jimmy McClain, John Rainney, and Odell Haywood
