Some Area Schools Delay Due To Winter Weather Advisory

TENNESSEE VALLEY– A Winter Weather Advisory in effect overnight, for parts of the Tennessee Valley will impact some area schools and government offices on Monday, January 8.  We have a list of closings and delays here:

Albertville City Schools will have a 2- hour delay

Boaz City Schools CLOSED

Cornerstone Christian Academy CLOSED

DeKalb County Offices will have a 2-hour delay, will open at 10 AM

DeKalb County Schools CLOSED

Etowah County Schools will have a  3-hour delay

Fort Payne City Schools CLOSED

Franklin County, TN Schools CLOSED

Gadsden City Schools will have a 3-hour delay

Gadsden State Community College will opens at 10:30 a.m.

Guntersville City Schools will have a 2-hour delay

Jackson County Schools  CLOSED

Jacksonville City Schools will have a 3-hour delay

Jackson County Senior Centers will close all day Monday

Lincoln County Schools will have a 2-hour delay

Madison County Elementary School…Students who live on Keel Mountain are on a 2-hour delay, all other students should arrive on time.

Marshall County Schools CLOSED

Northeast Alabama Community College CLOSED

Scottsboro City Schools will have a 3-hour delay
