Sheila Marlene Champion, 59, of Pulaski, Tennessee, formerly of Russellville, Alabama, passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at her residence. A resident of Pulaski for the past twenty years, she was a member of the Church of Christ. A graduate of Russellville High School, she also earned a Bachelor’s Degree from UNA and was a journalist at WKSR radio station in Pulaski.
Visitation for Ms. Champion will be Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, from noon until 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. The funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Trae Durden officiating. Burial will be in East Franklin Cemetery, Russellville.
Ms. Champion is survived by her mother, Mrs. Tressie Champion; son, Charles Holden Jr.; and two brothers, Keith Champion, and Michael Champion and wife, Alisa Black Champion. Nieces, Kathryn Champion and Stephanie Raney and husband, Jared also survive her; as does a nephew, Michael Champion Jr.
Preceding her in death was her father, William Audrey Champion.
