John Dowman Darsey, 84, of Decatur, passed away on Jan. 5, 2018. His visitation will be on Monday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Callie Moore Darsey; daughter, Susan Darsey; granddaughter, Lilli Darsey; stepdaughter, Nicole Moore; and stepson, Art Moore(Janet Blackwood); and stepgranddaughter, Shanna Dunn.
Mr. Darsey loved being outdoors and working outdoors. He served his country in the U.S. Army, was a member of Elks Lodge # 655, and was a big Alabama football fan, ROLL TIDE!!
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.
