Nella Mae Akins Cox, age 89, of Five Points, TN passed away Thursday, January 04, 2018 at her residence. She was a native of Bonnertown, TN, retired Avon Representative, and a member of Five Points Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Lucy Bonner Akins; her husband, Presley Leo Cox; and twin daughters, Wanda Faye Cox and Donna Kaye Cox.

She is survived by

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, January 05, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 06, 2018, with Nathan Holloway officiating. Interment will follow at Bonnertown Cemetery in Bonnertown, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, c/o David Allen, P.O. Box 369, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464 or the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 13067, Alexandria, VA 22312.
