Mary Catherine Young 62, of Athens,AL died Wednesday, January 03, 2018 at her home. She was born Saturday, October 15, 1955 in Wyandotte, MI, She was the daughter of James Ewing Page and Mary Edna Page. She was preceded in death by her father and brother-Paul Page.
She is survived by her husband – Ricky Lynn Young, Athens, AL, Mother-Mary Edna Page, Pulaski, TN, Son – Corey Aaron (Jessica) Wales, Athens, AL , Daughters – Melony Renee (Charles)Tolbert, Toney,AL and Shana Darlene (David) Goodwin, Cash Point, TN, Brothers- James (Sandy) Page, Ardmore, TN, Bobby Page, Ardmore, AL, and Johnny Page, Huntsville, AL, 2 Sisters – Nancy Powell, Blanche, TN, Carol (Jimmy)Ford, Huntsville, AL, and mother-in-law-Margie Young, Lawrenceburg, TN., 9 grandchildren-Kaitlin, Tessa, Erin, Levi, Grant, Gracie, Maddison, Garrett and Brittany and 3 great grandchildren- Elizabeth, Eyrah and Emry.
She loved yard sales, auctions and sewing. She was the green thumb queen but loved her grandchildren most of all.
Visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be held Saturday,January 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, ALabama.
