Earnest Wayne Peters – Obituary

Earnest Wayne Peters, 69 of Arab, died Saturday December 30, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Peters was born February 3, 1948 in Talladega County to Ambers J. Peters and Lonie Geneva Butler Peters. He served in the U.S. Army and later worked as an electrician. His wife Connie Jones Peters preceded him in death on November 24, 2012. Mr. Peters enjoyed fishing, scraping, being outdoors, Smoky Mountain vacations and enjoyed his dogs. He also crocheted hats and donated them to the homeless ministries.
He was of the Baptist Faith.
Mr. Peters is survived by his children and in-laws: Eric Peters and Robin, Regina Morgan and David, Patricia Sims, Melisa Goble and Dave Judd and Karyn Thomas; special friend: Peggy Williams; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; his brother: Marvin Peters; his sisters: Rena White and Francis Kennedy; sister-in-law: Kathy Snyder; brothers-in-law: Russell Jones and Bruce Jones. He was preceded in death by his wife: Connie Jones Peters; his son: Adam Scott Jordan; his parents: Ambers J. and Lonie Geneva Peters and two grandchildren.
The family elected cremation with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisting. No service is planned at this time.
