Willie Ray Buse – Obituary

Willie Ray Buse, 49, passed away on December 29, 2017. He was born on February 24, 1968, in Tupelo to Polly Murrell Buse and the late William Earl Buse. He was a resident of the Ballardsville Community.

Ray loved the outdoors. He enjoyed painting and drawing the beauty of God’s earth. He had a well-cultivated garden and enjoyed growing many types of flowers and plants. Ray loved his family and doted on his nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, January 1, 2018, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Harvey Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Star Cemetery in Mantachie. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his mother, Polly Murrell Buse of Ballardsville; one sister, Teresa White of Fulton; three brothers, Robert Buse (Sue) of Mantachie; Mike Buse (Patti) of Fulton, and Tony Buse (Stacey) of Ballardsville. Ray also leaves behind several nephews and nieces, and a special friend, Princess Norris.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Buse; a niece, Abby Buse; and his grandparents.

Pallbearers will be Greg Terry, Brandon White, Neal Buse, and Mark Buse.
