William Howard Yowell, Sr. – Obituary

William Howard Yowell, Sr. of Lynnville passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Maury Regional Hospital. He was born in Pulaski, Tn on January 6, 1928 and was 89 years old.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Yowell went across the world collecting Christmas decorations and shared every year for many years. It became a family tradition for this county and other counties to come to their home and see all the Christmas decorations. Many will remember those days. Christmas was his favorite holiday that he would work all year long on the decorations that would be displayed. He was a mason for 68 years and Eastern Star Member also enjoyed fishing.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 1st from 10:00am until 8:00pm at Olivet Methodist Church.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 2 at 10:00am at Olivet Methodist Church with Blake Gowan officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lynnwood Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Yowell, son, Larry Norton, parents, Ora B. and Kathleen Clementine Foster Yowell, sister, Mary Virginia Yowell, brother, Forest B Yowell, great-grandchild, “Little” Lance Norton.
He is survived by his,
Daughter, Kathleen Hanback of MS
Daughter, Billi Marie McCrary of Lynnville
Daughter, Dixie Lee Birdsall of MS
Son, William (Mary) Howard Yowell Jr. of MS
Daughter-in-law, Linda Norton of Pulaski.
Grandchildren, Noel Hanback, Mary Virginia McClintock, Gypsey Lee Hillard, John Wayne McCray III, Isreal Liggett, Havalynn Smith, William Howard Yowell III, Matthew Yowell, Lori Aucion, Lamar Norton, Lana Domangue, Leanna Spivey, and Lance Norton.

Several nieces and nephew also survive
