ATHENS-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a traffic fatality occurred on Wednesday. December 20 near Athens:
“A three-vehicle crash at 1:00 p.m. today, December 20, has claimed the life of a Rogersville woman.
Pamela Price Pierce, 38, was killed when the Buick Park Avenue she was driving crossed into on-coming traffic and collided with a Nissan Sentra.
Pierce was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan and one occupant were airlifted to Huntsville Hospital, and two other occupants were transported by ambulance.
A Ford F-150 was also involved in the crash, but the driver and two occupants were not injured.
The crash occurred on U.S. 72 five miles west of Athens. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
