FLORENCE– The Florence Police Department released a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect on Monday, December 18 on charges of Willful Abuse of a Child:
“Patrick Wayne Curtis (44) was arrested on December 18, 2017 for Willful Abuse of a Child Under the Age of 18.
It was reported on December 15, 2017 that Curtis was in an altercation with a 14-year-old family member. During this altercation the child received multiple injuries to their head, neck, and extremities.
Curtis is being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond.”
