Barbara Jean Brady Treloar, 82, was born on March 28, 1935 to Floyd and Velma Brady in Saginaw, Michigan, and joined our Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 17, 2017. Barbara married Ron Treloar in Saginaw in 1960. They had three children and lived there among family and many close friends until the 70’s. In 1975 the Treloars moved to Decatur where Barbara quickly made many new friends and became active in a number of organizations, including the bunko club and the fledgling Burningtree Birthday Club. Barbara and her daughters spent several years in Fort Myers, Florida before returning to Decatur in 2010, where she was a member of the Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church. Barbara’s frequent appearance at friendly gatherings often sparked increased attendance, where friends of all ages affectionately enjoyed her company. She was a loving mother with a genuinely warm and caring personality that will be forever cherished by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, and also by her sister, Rosemary, and brother, Bill. She is survived by her sister JoAnne (and husband Jerry), three children, Mark Thomas Treloar (and his wife Hilton and their son, Ross), Bridget Lyn Treloar, and Tami Treloar Thompson (and her husband David), and many beloved nieces and nephews. Dates, times and locations will be announced by Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home.
