William Ramsey, 88, passed away Friday. He was retired from the U.S. Army after serving for 28 years. He did a tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ramsey, six daughters, and a number of grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren whom he thoroughly enjoyed.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Monday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with a service following at 10 a.m. with Bill Cantrell officiating. Burial will be in Hampton Cove Cemetery.
