Jewel Dean Poston Hallman, age 76, of Russellville, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Burns Nursing Home. Jewel’s favorite enjoyment was spending time with her family.
The visitation will be 1:00 -2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Bro. Darryl Whitehead will officiate the service and burial will be at East Franklin Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Hallman; parents, Andrew & Viola Poston; and sister, Jean Poston Porter.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 61 years, Ollie Verdo Hallman; daughters, Joyce (Hallman) Odom, Joann (Hallman) Wood; daughter-in-law, Joann Hallman; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim Poston (wife, Dot), Junior Poston (wife, Sherry), Raymond Poston (wife, Sue); sister, Kathleen Paul; and several nieces & nephews.
The pallbearers will be Robert Poston, Anthony Poston, Andy Hallman, Kevin Poston, David Craft, and Nick Craft.
