Funeral service for Ursula “Sue” Lawrence, 95, will be Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Red Oak Grove Church with Rev. Phillip Lawrence and Rev. Randall Patton officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Red Oak Grove Cemetery. No Visitation is scheduled.
Mrs. Lawrence died on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at her residence. She was born December 7, 1922, in Hancock County, Mississippi to Newton R. Mitchell and Laura L. Lee Mitchell. She was a member of Community Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother,and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband: Gurvis Lawrence, her parents, a granddaughter: Randi Lawrence, a grandson: Phillip Brown, a daughter-in-law: Gail Lawrence and several Brothers and Sisters.
