Suspect Arrest Charged With Theft Of Property 1st In Athens

ATHENS-Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson Issued a statement regarding the arrest of a suspect on a Grand Jury Warrant For Theft 1st Degree:

“Christopher Robert Williams was arrested yesterday, Thursday, December 14 on a grand jury warrant for theft of property first degree.

Williams borrowed an acquaintance’s 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier in May of 2015 Williams was at the Bomar Inn on US 31 and ask to borrow the vehicle to go to Hardees and get breakfast. Williams never returned the vehicle to the owner. 

Williams was booked at the police department and transferred to the county jail.”
