Ronald L. Gooch, 70, of Rogersville died Sunday, December 10th, 2017. Mr. Gooch was a professional fisherman for the past 50 + years. And he has been happily married to Janice Gooch for 53 years.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, John Gooch & Alma Robison; brother, Richard Gooch and grandson, Jonathan Gooch. He is survived by his wife, Janice; sons, Johnny (Dana) Gooch and Chris (Jason) Gooch; grandsons, Josh (Haley), Aaron and Jordan Gooch, Austin, Steven (Megan), Kollin (Jessica) Barber and Justin Harrison; great-grandchildren, Adam, Liam, Gwen and Brentley; brother, Shawn Robison; 36 nieces & nephews; uncle, Johnnie (Janice) Butler; aunts, Katherine (Jerry) Putman and Patsy (George) Wallace.
Mr. Gooch’s visitation will be held at Rogersville Funeral Home on Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 6-8 p.m. His funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m., with burial at Butler Cemetery. Jeff Putman and Steven Barber will be officiating.
