Martha Ann Aldridge – Obituary

Martha Ann Aldridge, a resident of Lincoln Healthcare Nursing Center, died Monday, December 11, 2017, after an extended illness with Parkinson’s Disease.  She was born on October 13, 1944, in Lawrence County, Tennessee, a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.  She formerly lived in Rutherford County, Tennessee, for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy Ray” Joe Aldridge; parents, Carlee Matthews McGuire Cassel and Harrison Alonzo Cassel; sisters, Hester Hamm, Juanita Wisdom, Vernice Adair; and her brothers, Glendall McGuire and Mac McGuire.

She is survived by one daughter, Darlene Pierce and son-in-law, Dwayne Pierce of Fayetteville, TN; two sons, Gary Aldridge of Nashville, TN and Billy Joe Aldridge of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Tanya Warden (Jeff), Samantha Hurst (Timothy), Michael Pierce (Melissa), Robert Pierce, Norma Jean Richcreek (Von), Zachary Aldridge, Ashley Aldridge, Courtney Aldridge, Matthew Aldridge, Alex Aldridge, and Jacklyn Aldridge; sixteen great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Ruby Dean Camron and Ruby Aldridge; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special lifelong friends, Henry and Betty Stover.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 17, 2017, with Alan Crawford officiating.  Interment will follow at Brace Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
