Melvin Levern Fults – Obituary

 Mr. Melvin Levern Fults, 80, passed away Friday December 8, 2017 at his home. He was born in the Suck Creek Community in Hamilton County to Wesley and Parthenia McHone Fults who preceded him in  death along with his son, Jimmy L. Fults; sister, Linda Jones; brothers, Paul and Boyd Fults.

He was a member of the Gruetli Church of God and had been a Nurseryman most of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Violet Faye VanHoosier Fults; son, Wade Fults; daughter, Karen (Stacey) McGee; brothers, Hoyt and Dave (Charlotte) Fults; sisters, Zella (Horace Ray) Slatton and Barbara King; grandchildren, Courtney, Whitney and Jessie; great grandchildren, Dawson and Ella; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Willard Griffin and Wayne Norris officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer, Tennessee. Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
